It was important for me to allow a day or so to pass before commenting on this item; primarily, because I wanted AboveTopSecret.com time to label timedrifter's story (i.e., the "If you could ask a time traveler a question what would you ask?" thread) a hoax if this was the reason for banning me.
Over the sixteen months of the thread's existence at ATS, at no time was it ever closed or suspended and labeled a hoax. There are many times that there were vehement detractors from both regular member, as well as moderators, but at no time was the story/thread labeled a hoax.
As of today, Tuesday, May 20, the thread has not been labeled a hoax,
Now, two days after my being banned for a still as yet undetermined reason, the thread is still open, not labeled a hoax, and is still seeing posts being made. Another individual even volunteered after I was banned.
If, however, our thread mysteriously becomes labeled a "hoax" after I post this article, I've at least saved the above screenshot (which, admittedly only shows up to about 7:00pm on the 19th), as well as a .pdf file of the entire "Recently Discussed Topics" page from the "Skunk Works" section from today, May 20, linked here.
To go a step further, a member at ATS, cindymars, actually addressed my banning in a discussion thread about ATS "issues" entitled, "The ATS Issues Thread". The thread was created by the Administrators of ATS (as shown by the Original Poster's ID tag "Topic started on 6-5-2008 @ 11:29 AM by AboveTopSecret.com") to address any concerns members had with how the site was managed.

UPDATE: I've just been forwarded a link to a website that is discussing John Lear's banning from AboveTopSecret.com.
John Lear was apparently also banned from AboveTopSecret.com in January 2008, without warning, and without good cause, according to him. John says that the reason he was provided (i.e., that Lear fabricated some statements) by SkepticOverlord (AKA Bill Irvine) for his banning was misapplied to him, and that another member was responsible for the statements/comments in question.
Included at that site are messages and correspondences provided by John Lear himself about his banning, statements from Lear about his frustration at what he says is duplicitous behavior on the behalf of ATS's management (primarily, "Springer" AKA Mark Allin and "Skeptic Overlord" AKA Bill Irvine), as well as posts/messages quoted from the site; some of which have been removed from ATS(?).
Here is an excerpt from a letter John Lear wrote in response to his being banned in January of 2008,

I understand that John is still friends with the administrators at ATS, and I certainly don't feel any ill will. But, it seems, both of us (as well as a great number of other ex-members) feel that there is a lack of equity, uniformity and forthrightness in the treatment members are receiving there. Our firsthand experience proves this.

2) Someone for whom we get an inordinate amount of member complaints, but perhaps each complaint is "borderline." This requires an unfair situation where our staff is so occupied with this particular member, the rest of the site doesn't get the appropriate attention.
3) Someone who is repeatedly posting intense ATS criticism, even after their posts have been addressed.

I guarantee you that everyone knows why they've been banned. If they say they don't know, they're either trying to deceive people, or not being honest with themselves.

No... not the same then.
The reasons for being forthright about the banning of a member would include:
1) If there was a "public outcry" for the banning of a particularly disruptive member. In these cases, the reason is usually clear, but we inform as to the timing.
2) If a member was found to be hoaxing the board, we'd inform everyone as to the nature of the hoax.
3) If a member was inappropriately engaged in some other activity that was deceptive to members.
Those are but a few examples.

Sunday, May 18, 2008 - I Was Banned From AboveTopSecret.com

I was banned yesterday, May 17, 2008, from AboveTopSecret.com under my username "OnTheDeck". Unaware that I had been banned, and thinking I was only having log in problems, I created the alternate User Name "atsdeck" to post a message that I was having problems logging in. This is a name (atsdeck) I've used at other sites to make posts, as my introduction to timedrifter and his story, and the bulk of the threads both he and I have created have been at ATS.
It didn't take long for me to realize that I had been banned.
Although the reason I was banned has not been explicitly stated, either in a private message to me, or as a post in the most current thread, another moderator suggested it was because I was posting messages from timedrifter, himself a banned member.
I mentioned in one of my last posts, under the User Name "atsdeck," that I had been posting answers from timedrifter to members in the thread for a while now since he was originally banned (almost a year prior), without receiving any warnings from mods or admins. This is primarily why it was such a shock to me.
Regardless of the reason I was banned, I have been an active, supportive and prolific member of ATS for almost three years. To be a member of a community for this long, and to be banned without warning - and with no reason given - should send a clear message to anyone considering joining this community, or similar communities in the future. That's some way to reward someone who proved to be a pretty committed member. Not that I'm losing sleep over it...
The thread in question was one I created on January 23, 2007, entitled, "If you could ask a time traveler a question what would you ask?" I created the thread on a lark, so folks could ask timedrifter questions about our future/past that he might be able to answer from his experiences. I also thought the thread might help him jog his memory some more.
The thread, quite unexpectedly, took off and took on a life of its own. The questions from members (and posts from detractors) quickly grew the thread, and I found myself (and timedrifter, himself) putting a lot of time and energy into the thread. It was a task responding to the more vitriolic skeptics of timedrifter's story, but I think we presented our case well, and as a result won over a lot of readers; even thought this wasn't necessarily the intent.
That thread has been running strong for sixteen months - almost a year and a half(!) from the day it started. And as of today, May 18, 2008, it ranks number three in the "Skunk Works" section with 2,268 Replies; and ranks number four with 66,177 Views. We’re also probably number six or seven with the number of flags.
Now that timedrifter and I have been banned from both AboveTopSecret.com and GodlikeProductions.com, we are going to have to find somewhere else to share our experiences and post our findings.
Given both of our experiences at the above two sites, I'd say that's a good thing. Given the newness of conspiracy/paranormal message boards, and the direction that two of the majors (and plenty of the minors) have taken, it's clear that we're a ways away from fully realizing the potential of this new medium of idea exchange.
The Internet is our door to unadulterated, accurate and totally free information and truth. What we have is a good start, but we're not quite there yet.
Hopefully, we will begin to see more of these types of sites that are able to meet the technical and managerial demands of this venture, without sacrificing content, and without jeopardizing, obstructing, or mishandling the free exchange that we desire take place.
ATS and GLP (as well as this site, Project Camelot, Project Prove, the other sites linked here, and many more) are showing us a glimpse of what is to come; but I'm confident that where we are headed is going to be so much more. Guess you gotta start somewhere.
As for ATS, I really enjoyed meeting the folks I've met through that site. There is a great community, and that's what it's all about. We are galvanizing each other; encouraging each other. And this is having a very real affect.
I'm glad that I was at least able to post some closing comments in the question thread at ATS. I would have hated for it to just "end" without some sort of goodbye. After so much time, I thought that everyone who followed along deserved at least that much.
Just wanted to make a post and say goodbye to ATS for a while. I was a very active member at ATS since I signed up in, I think, 2005 (Can't access my stats now, so I'm guessing...). And it's where timedrifter and I first hooked up. It's where I met all of the cool souls that I continue to keep up with on this paranormal/planetary stuff.
So, to all of the folks who read/followed along at ATS, you're all fantastic. Even the mods who will go unnamed. ahah
Never forget what this is all about.

Saturday May 17, 2008: ONTHEDECK Banned from abovetopsecret.com

Without warning or reason ONTHEDECK (aka ATSDECK) was banned from the abovetopsecret.com message boards, the biggest conspiracy website on the net that is a conspiracy within itself with all the non sense actions the moderators seem to take, banning user's for reasons that are usually a mystery which brings us here, if you look at ONTHEDECK's history there he obviously has done nothing wrong and was banned without warning or reason.
Now what is important here and the conspiracy for the site itself is that people go to this site as a platform to tell their story or experience and the moderators turn around and ban people and they are hypocrites because the skunk works sections is purely speculative or stuff that can not be proven, but to me all the other sections is like one huge skunk works section , The thread was started in the UFO and Alien section and moved over to the skunk works section by the bitch ass moderators there, once this question is addressed at the site they erase the post and ban the members.
At this point I am becoming more convinced abovetopsecret.com is an information collecting agency that turns around and tries to discredit any whistle blower to maintain the secrets and control, if that is not the case and they are a bunch of little bitches on power trips going around judging people on the fly, then perhaps they are just a bunch of scumbag moderators that are creating bad karma for themselves.

I must commend ONTHEDECK for his wisdom, I was angry and reacted and meanwhile he was patient.
But the moderators at that site are committing what is considered the ultimate crime in the future, BLOCKING, and they will be brought to justice!!
Now what is important here and the conspiracy for the site itself is that people go to this site as a platform to tell their story or experience and the moderators turn around and ban people and they are hypocrites because the skunk works sections is purely speculative or stuff that can not be proven, but to me all the other sections is like one huge skunk works section , The thread was started in the UFO and Alien section and moved over to the skunk works section by the bitch ass moderators there, once this question is addressed at the site they erase the post and ban the members.
At this point I am becoming more convinced abovetopsecret.com is an information collecting agency that turns around and tries to discredit any whistle blower to maintain the secrets and control, if that is not the case and they are a bunch of little bitches on power trips going around judging people on the fly, then perhaps they are just a bunch of scumbag moderators that are creating bad karma for themselves.

In a thread at abovetopsecret.com created on February 23, 2008, entitled, "A film of 'time travelers or aliens' see and decide" a poster revisits a close encounter case from 1967 in which film footage may show human-like extraterrestrials the poster suggests could be time travelers.

17 Feb 1967, about 9:45 PM, Palmer, Massachusetts: Mrs. Stella V. Lansing, a housewife, part-time nurse, and mother of five children, the oldest then in Vietnam, was parked with her car on Old Warren Road, just off Route 32, in the double-row, high-voltage power-line area. This was about a kilometer east of Palmer Center, away from street lights and houses, alongside Burleigh park, and no more than a kilometer from her home at Thompson Lake. Earlier this evening she had seen a yellow-orange globe of light near the old cemetery and now hoped to see it again. She had been puzzled frequently by strange lights in the Palmer area and this time brought a borrowed movie camera. She was ready.

Waiting patiently under a black, starlit sky with the moon nearly half full, she saw three distinct globes of yellow-to-reddish-orange light coming from the southeast, along the power line. Except for an occasional cricket-like sound they were silent, as low as the power line poles and no more than 20 m from them. Mrs. Lansing recalls: "They generally glided, sometimes bouncing in a dipping manner, as though riding the crest and ripples of a water wave." She started filming the approaching objects and was amazed when they suddenly retreated: "They bounced back like a rubber ball on a rubber string."

The resulting movie was first viewed on an old projector, which unfortunately tended to burn the individual frames when the stop-motion lever was held too long on "still". Lansing evidently captured the zigzag motion by using the single-frame lever, but that's all her photo shows -- a zigzag -- with no unambiguous structural detail.
The 16 fps sequence, about 4½ sec long, has very low contrast, appearing as a yellow rectangle in the upper-left-hand corner of the projected movie. In her studies of the film, Lansing had switched to a battery-operated, hand-held viewer, to avoid burning any more frames, and only moving, ghostlike images were apparent. Months later, a modern projector was purchased. She recalls: "I had a shock of disbelief as I was finally able to see four beings, two of which were turning their heads and moving their lips as though conversing, and which then appeared to be looking down at me."
Fig. 2 shows one frame from this 4½ sec sequence. Fig. 3, sketched by artist Frederick E. Fahdt, assists the reader in locating the three occupants in Fig. 2. The fourth figure, not visible here, is standing to left in the movie scene. None appears to be the grey alien type usually reported in close encounters nor, with dark hair, are these the occasional blond "Nordic" types. Most striking is this veridical human character of the images, even more evident from their animated movements during projection. Who are these people? Could they be archeologists from Earth's distant future? With their casual and non-uniform garb, they look more like university researchers than a military crew.

Lansing's movie was shown informally at the end of the APRO 1971 "Eastern UFO Symposium", where one of the featured speakers was psychiatrist / UFO researcher Berthold E. Schwarz, M.D. He subsequently visited Mrs. Lansing twice in Palmer on five days of February and April 1971, and studied her further at his New Jersey office during five days of May 1971. These investigations were usually attended by members of her family or close friends. Schwarz even enlisted the help of famed telepathist Joseph Dunninger, as a positive check on her veracity. Schwarz's on-site field trips to Palmer, numerous telephone calls and correspondence, interviews of her associates, and his psychiatric evaluation and continuing interest in this case, are documented for UFO researchers by seven articles in Flying Saucer Review (see Stewart's index). Dr. Schwarz's conclusions and comments in brief:
* Stella Lansing told the truth as she saw it, and was quite modest about it: "These things happen and I don't know why"
* Lansing had a history of paranormal experiences -- telepathic, precognitive, telekinetic, teleosomatic -- all within the range reported for psi-sensitive people
* Subjects can be driven into psychosis by our failure to believe them; Lansing was affected by her strange experiences and required hospitalization. Schwarz clearly emphasizes that these experiences were cause, not result, of her psychosis, which subsequent treatment completely cured
* Attempts to hypnotically regress Lansing were too traumatic and had to be abandoned
* Lansing had taken many films and photographs of UFO-like and bizarre, non-UFO-like objects such as described by Ivan T. Sanderson
* Careful, frame-by-frame analysis is necessary to see some of her photographed objects, which otherwise are overlooked
* Facts of the case do not support a thoughtography (paranormal exposure) explanation: (1) Ted Serios claimed to produce single-exposures, while Lansing's 4½ sec sequence has many frames of complex movement, (2) Lansing and Schwarz simultaneously filmed anomalous objects on-site in Palmer with separate movie cameras and got consistent results
* Question: how did Stella Lansing's psychopathology / psychophysiology make her a candidate for UFO interaction?

In a Youtube video recently posted entitled, "UFO Abduction Story!! 2015 The Arrival!! Pt.5" a man claiming to be an abductee says that he was shown our future.
The man says that sometime prior to 2015, that we will "discover" extraterrestrial structures on the moon, proving that intelligent extraterrestrial races exist. The man says that the majority may still not believe or understand the implications of what is found, and that this will necessitate what is to come in 2015.
The man says that he has been shown that in 2015 there will be what he calls "The Arrival". At this time, all of these extraterrestrial craft will fill the skies (heard this one before?). He says that this event will prompt many on the ground to commit suicide. This same scenario has been described by timedrifter, Michael at Helloearth.info (the Michael Connection), and by other credible abductees who have seen this future scenario.
These craft, this man says, will leave almost as soon as they had arrived, but the situation on the ground will be changed forever.
Watch and decide for yourself. If you have been following along with this site, or others with similar forecasts, you really have to ask yourself how you would respond. Hopefully, it is as timedrifter, this man, and many others suggest, and that is with an open mind and heart.

UPDATE: Mysterious Universe Podcast has regenerated!

Almost two months after posting the below announcement, Ben has decided to retire from working on Mysterious Universe after the 100th episode is done. As of posting, it is on Episode 94. It's sad to see him leave, but since there have been issues since September that have kept on coming up that have lead to the website and podcast not having new content for long periods of time, it is not a surprise. He has not shuttered MU completely, as he has opened the door for a new host to come in and take over the show and site. Hopefully, a new host can be found and everyone likes him or her. And thanks to Ben for creating the Mysterious Universe experience. Hopefully he will find time to pop in now and again on the site and podcast.

The very popular podcast and website Mysterious Universe, hosted by Australian Benjamin Grundy, was down for a week and half. It was unknown what had happened. I tried to email one of the messageboard moderators and haven't heard anything back. Today it relaunched to a new format, and also a new episode christening the regeneration of the site. As of right now, the messageboards are not back up yet, but once they do, I'll be back as your inside man, or Time Lord.

First, timedrifter (in his article right below mine, entitled, "Project Camelot: John Lear Tells All") is right on to be skeptical about any paranormal sites; especially, abovetopsecret.com and godlikeproductions.com. These are two of the biggest; two of the most "watched"; and two of the most censored conspiracy/ufo/paranormal sites on the net.
We still enjoy a dialog at abovetopsecret.com with interested and important members, despite the fact that our discussion has been relegated to a speculative (the "Skunk Works") section.
Timedrifter's experiences focus primarily around a six day missing time/abduction experience for which his family and a family friend were present and can attest, as can the local police precinct to which timedrifter's absence was reported.
Despite these facts, a moderator oddly still felt it necessary to move timedrifter's threads to the speculative section from the "Aliens & UFOs" section. Speculative discussion of aliens and ufos continue in the "Aliens & UFOs" section at abovetopsecret.com, while timedrifter's extraordinary story languishes in the Skunk Works section.
This fact hasn't hurt the thread's exposure or popularity, as it is currently in third place in the Skunk Works section for the most thread "responses" and is in fourth place for the number of thread "views". Not that we're keeping track...
The powers that be are still the powers that be. Until that changes, we will not see much in the way of broad exposure to the truth, save for what folks like Nancy Williams, Dan Burisch, John Lear, Svali, et al. are able to provide us through websites like this, Project Camelot, and other groups who support and endeavor to get the whole truth, and nothing but the truth out to the people.
Along these lines, Project Camelot shares a status update from Benjamin Fulford from an email correspondence that they received from him,

Well, well well, in the opening minutes of (not sure which part, read below) one of the video's, Our friend John Lear talks about how he is banned by Abovetopsecret.com (ATS). I have been banned 7 times from those cheese balls, if ATS is a goverment info collection agency they are a bunch of suckers cause it is going to back fire and blow up in their faces.
I think those ATS moderator dudes are women, and they get wet when they ban someone........cheese balls!!!

I just realized the video I embedded does not match the one I watch yet I got the code from the same place.
when I tried to update the link my PC shut off and when I brought it back up, the video changed, cause I used the restore session feature in firefox.
you blockers (you know who you are) better watch yourselves, If I am close to the truth, lookout punks, I am gonna rule you with fear now........cheese balls!!
OK, this morning when I posted this article, I was watching the video and it was 1 hour and 13 minutes, and the beginning was different than it is now and it is 1 hour and 16 minutes now (video below)

They spend a great deal of time covering how cheesy ATS is and that the scam is apparent, something is obviously not right there and the rules and methods of control should be the first indicator, all I know is the thread we created there still lives there but remember it was moved to from the Alien and UFO section to skunk works and I was banned there 7 times for the cheesy reasons and the moderators are continuing a "pen devil" style of control there which I could care less about at this point since this site is getting more hits than the thread is at ATS, the volunteers keep coming, so watch john lear closely, if he is full of shit he deserves an oscar award.
Also a moderator at ATS added the word "hoax" to the tags at the bottom and other little girl type stuff you will see throughout the thread, especially when you see whole posts removed, I have made a few backups of it before it was "moderated", but whatever of course, the flood gates will open when they open and they will all wash out and be exposed.
Hear me now, believe me later, girly men at ATS!
